We see similar behavior while living in INDIA as well, but as no.of families/people living around us are high we don't feel loneliness or abandoned.
But, here far from our homeland , the same situation is different. Sad but TRUE
For those who are commenting other languages/states habits or choices...if you look at big picture, native Americans might look at INDIANS differently because we grew up in different environment , both of us has our own way of living. After, coming long way and education still blaming others on their choices ..... grow up guys not just financially
