See the pediatrician stat...based on ur infant skin condition and the stage of eczema they may prescribe whether topical or something to go internal like syrups etc . As long as infants are considered always take dr opinion i request not to depend on others tips or youtube ideas. Once u see doc there gonna be a strict regimen daily for the skin u gotta apply only those products whatever they prescribe u also u hv to get rid of all products to which ur baby myt be allergic like detergents perfumes etc etc..Travelling in the same boat thats y concerned..

My daughter had similar problem while she was about 6 months, doctor prescribed one lotion and asked to mix with Cetaphil while applying 2-3 times a day.. it went away in 2 days.. I strongly suggest see pediatrician..

Also one more thing doctor said is check your house temperature, its still too hot for baby even if you keep 70, you need to cool it down and with current summer, you really need to bring it down if thats on high..

Another suggestion: Stay away from Johnson's baby wash / soap.
For some reason, the products we buy in the US, seem to not favor Indian children.

Of all the cream that I tried for my son, an unheard of cream called ELAJ works the best. I bought it from Walmart.

Thank you all for responding. I have been to pediatrician but it's been long time eczema is not going. We are free from scented things and following diet free of dairy and nuts.

He prescribed topical steroid but using it in long term not good to her skin it will make skin thinner. Any side effects with anti histamine? Will it subside the rash?

Eczema has got nothing to do with dairy or nuts. Change your doctor.
Dont avoid dairy products its very vital for health and brain grwoth.

Hi - My son has eczema too. It could be food allergies too but I don't think avoiding any food really helps, since babies need it for good health. Although you can experiment to see if any particular type of food is making it worse. Besides, out pediatrician prescribed Hydrocortisone 2.5% ointment and that has helped quite a bit. SO check with your doctor.
I also hear that these things go away by themselves, so not much to worry about.

Hope this helps

Dry scalp is called cradle cap. Use hydrocortisone cream on the scalp and oil it regularly. Use neutrogena t gel shampoo once a week.
Also use aveeno eczema cream for the rest of the body.
