You can change job anytime, If you got h1b approval in this years's quota. Other company will file your new h1b application but this time quota exempt anytime during the year.

First of all, have some Ethics. Money is not everything.

It's very difficult to transfer from H4 to H1. Your employer took that risk.

Now that you have H1 you want to ditch him and go for other employer. This is so shameful.

Atleast work for an year so that he makes money out of you and then switch.

We Indians don't have ethics and that is why Desi Employers are like that.

Too bad on us.

I waited for almost 18 months to get selected in lottery and for getting my h1. Now I have right to choose my employer.
I have no patience of waiting for 1 more year. Anyway companies don't loose anythng if they loose me, but I loose every thing if I don't get job of my choice.

Hi .. you can transfer your h1b at any time.I wouldn't recommend transfer H1b without paystubs. But for H1b transfer you need to submit atleast 2- 4 paystubs as far as I know.

If you dont have any paystubs and applied for the H1b transfer, USCIS may issue RFE.It will effect the current petition.

Make sure your new company has enough paper work to support your H1b. H1b transfer nowadays are so tough. I got rfe when I transfer my H1b to new employer. If you have time just work for 2 months get your paystubs and then transfer.

Please remember you are one of the luckiest person out of 172500 people. 55% of the people they don't even select in the lottery. Please be careful when you make decisions about H1b.

This is not legal advise.
