Oldest Language in the World?   Gupta   06/24/2014 12:47 PM

I am a literature student at UConn and doing some research to find the oldest language in the World. I initially though Sanskrit is very Ancient and it should be the oldest language, whereas I found a recent proof that the language spoken in southern part of India called "Tamil" was existing way before Sanskrit and other Aryan languages. It was surprising and looks like a turning point in my research. Do any one of you people have much knowledge about this? Any little realistic information would be really helpful.
