It is advisable to show her married status. In our country name do change after marriage. It is not required to change the name and address in the passport. While filling the application for visa, she has to mentioned as married and new name changed after the marriage. They just want to check what all name you used and fill all the details correctly. Once she mention her new name in the application, all other documents in new name will be valid. In the passport permanent address come so no need to change. It is very difficult to get visa for unmarried people as they are potential immigrant as per US embassy.

Remember following steps:
1. Get a certificate from Village Officer Stating that Old name lady and new name lady are one and the same person.

2.You should have proof of marriage, like certificate etc when go for interview. If your last name in the passport is Dad's name, you need a certificate for that too.

3. However, it is easy to add husband's name in the passport. It is only one day process now a days.

This is a very common occurrence. My wife has the same situation, where here passport still shows her maiden last name. The easiest thing to do is apply for visa with exact name that is in passport. Then carry marriage certificate as proof of marriage. They see this situation multiple times so nothing new for them.
