H1B Info   Seeking   01/11/2013 02:30 AM

Hi guys,
Pls advise me on this,

I am holding H1B new petition effective oct9,2012 to sep 30,2013.I have few questions . Please advise me on that
1) Will travel to USA for my current Employer in Apr 2013 and have a plan to switch over another company immediately. Is that fine or did I follow through any process like minimum XXX months to be billed for current H1B Visa
2) Can I get extension for my current employer after 2013 Sep and the switch over to other company. What is the best idea?
3) If my current employer process green card for me and If I switch over another company. Did that green card request is still active .

Seeking - What a true Desi loyalty, you are expressing, before joining, Hat's off to you Mr. Desi Pappu. Mere Bharat Mahan.

1. You can't switch the company like this as it is not ethical and you will be spoiling your resume. You current employer can sue you.
2. I believe H1B will be for one year which means till Mar'14. Please check. Once you work for your company for one year and prove your worth, why you have doubt for extension.
3. looking at your esteemed loyalty toward the current employer who sponsored and married you and before bedai, you are talking for divorce. Who will file green card application for you. You do not deserve even normal visitor visa even.
Mr. Pappu, you got H1B yesterday and looking for US Citizenship tomorrow, wake up Pappu wake up or God will wake you up.

My comment is just for switching companies. No company can sue their employees if they wish to resign from their job / employment agreement. Where is the question of ethics? Relationship is governed by the employment agreement. Yes, if the employee had signed / agreed to repay whatsoever costs, the employer can rightfully deduct that from final settlement or recover.

But, agree on hats off to Mr.Pappu

To: Well Wisher 2 - Sir, Just for my knowledge sake, even after signing a year agreement, employee can leave the job as and when he wants and employer can sue the employee for the damages. If the answer is yes, then what is the validity of agreement??
