I have seen many people looking for good Indian communities around Hartford - Rocky Hill, Manchester, Vernon and Windsor. Below are some of my observations, on the best communities I have ranked them based on a 1500 budget for 2 BHK
Rank 1 - Mansions at Vernon. Lovely community, and hence ranked number 1. Indian presence can be lesser though
Rank 2 - Vintage at the Grove, Manchester. Very clean and nice apartments, exceptional service. Not many Indians though.
Rank 3 - Aspen Woods - Not as good as the above 2, but a massive Indian community. Everything you need is also nearby
Rank 4 - Pavilions - Probably a cheaper option. They have the best floor plans, but the open entrance to complexes is an issue. A lot of Indians as well
Rank 5 - Century Hills. They are in Rocky Hill. Massive Indian community, but these aren't great apartments compared to the above 4. But they are very cheap compared to the rest, with all sorts of offers

Who said Pavilions is cheap? They add up lot of hidden charges every month and all the utilities are separate. I lived there for 3yrs, if only one person earning in family then all those hidden charges screw up your budget!

thank you so much. I am moving to Hartford in november. Many are asking to wait for offers to happen. When do you think offers will happen? does anyone have experience? Does everyone agree with the rankings here? My budget for a 2 bhk is 1300, but these look expensive. Or does any offer heat
