Cheshire is a good residential town. Good school systems. A little country club type town. Getting in and out is tricky from major highways but good place to raise family.

Prasad, It would help if you start off by telling a bit about yourself first. Almost everyone who visits this site is Indian or originated from India. Do you mean you are coming from India to Cheshire (US) for the first time, or you lived somewhere else in US. Your next posts do clarify this a bit, looks like you are a student?

Because most of the folks here are professionals/family people so if you are looking fro advice from a student perceptive knowing that helps. Providing details about yourself will give people a chance to give you a better focused advice.

Looking at the website it looks like its a High School with an unbelievably high Fees - close $60 K per year? Is that right? Again, like the last poster asked, I will repeat, please ask a more detail question by providing more information about yourself and what sort of questions you have, so people can advice you better.

Hi Prasad,

My honest opinion is don't waste your money. Do schooling from India and if you want come down to US for higher education (College). It does not make sense to spend so much money for high school. Rest upto you as you know your financial situation better. Maybe you and your parents have too much money so then it would be fine.

The first challenge you will have is that weather. CT winters are very cold and long (6-7 months). During this time there is not much to do as you have to stay indoors most of the time. There is lots of snow and during snow again there is not much to do except sit inside. Next challenge will be coming to a foreign country and trying to understand its ways and people and adapt. Usually rich white kids go to private schools so I am sure you will face some prejudice when you come here and may find making friends hard. Next, Cheshire is a small rural city, there is not much to do. You will be dependent on school activities to keep you busy.
To be honest the only benefit I see is you get to come to US and explore a different culture and country. Be prepared to face the challenges though and come with an open mind.

Correct your best bet is google. In US everyone depends on google. I don't think anyone onthe forum will know about the school since everyones kids go to OPublic schools which are free. This is a private school with hih fees, so no one can give you perspective.

So type www.google.com and in search box type Cheshire Academy Connecticut or Cheshire Academy Connecticut reviews
