Gestational diabetes    Riya   04/13/2018 05:56 PM

I wonder if anyone has/had diabetes when you were pregnant. I just got diagnosed and scared to hell. I know someone who had it and it never went away even after the delivery. Why do we Indians are so vulnerable to this chronic disease.

My cousin had it high levels while she was pregnant. After delivery she went back to normal I believe. Not 100% sure

Hey, my wife had this and she used insulin as well to control but now she is doing good, it's been 5 months after Delivery, she doesn't have it anymore.

do not panic, it will be all set, its just because of hormonal changes..

Be Happy & stay healthy for the baby

In my first pregnancy I had gestational diabetes
They gave me some blood test strips to check daily
After delivery it’s gone
So don’t worry it’s little common in pregnancy

Don’t be panic. You should be fine after delivery.

My wife had and she was after delivery. One way you are lucky since the coming season spring and summer. You can walk outside and put it under control.

Follow proper diet and do regular walking .

Hi,

I had GD during my both pregnancies. I controlled it through diet and exercise. I had normal delivery both times. Nothing to worry about it. It went back to normal after delivery.

Don't worry!
My husband developed diabetes as well as hypertension and insomnia during my pregnant. After birth his diabetes is gone but hypertension and insomnia have worsened.
