Satisfied with average life?   Al   03/18/2018 10:16 AM

How to be satisfied with your average life? I am just average in everything. Average job, average quality apartment, not that beautiful wife. average talents, quarelling kids, old car...I think it’s ok to be average. What do you think? Sometimes feeling low of myself...
I also understand some people are not fortunate to have what I have. May be its jealousy when I see smarter people, guys hanging out with beautiful girls, families living in luxury homes etc.

I guess you are not alone here.. most think same way !

However, it is up to an individual to think what state they are !

One additional thing may help is meditation and yoga. This helps to keep body/mind together to some extent. It helps to think just an individual which is really great to me !

Good Luck !

Lol!! I am one of those have everything, have 200k salary + shares of company, beautiful wife, Nice car, I dont understand what is that quarreling kids, I like the fortune of my life where I lead very low life in India with home tutions I completed my bachelors degree, dont have enough money to stay in city for job search, did part times of writing books, slowly started my carrier and proved myself to be in this position, to be honest I love the hard working life and this life, to be more precise I enjoyed those initial things, Money thrist never makes you thristy, it will be always there, ask abhishek how much excited his wife is beautiful women in the world, ask Ambani is he happy in his daily life, All you need to do is sharp your skills focus work hard, you may not become ambani but atleast you dont fall from here, The most luckiest thing in the world any one is having is Health, hope you have it, just search happiness in all aspects of the world by being positive.

You have to find what makes you happy, look for hobbies, I picked up tennis and it gives me so much pleasure that I am loving my life and its all due to picking a hobby and trying to get good at it. Find your passion and everything else will become trivial.

You don't know how lucky you are. Did you had all these from your birth? Did you ever (when you were younger) dream of having things that you have now? Are you the person that you dreamed that you will be?(if not, where are you falling short, what are you doing about the shortage)

My personal theory:
1. Be satisfied with what you have. (This gives you peace)
2. Never be satisfied with what you are(ability). (This gives you purpose)

A man said to the Buddha, “I want Happiness.”
Buddha said, first remove “I”, that’s ego,
then remove “want”, that’s desire.
See now you are left with only Happiness.
