Rude indians?	Curious indian	11/10/2017 11:41 PM
I know its big generalization but its about majority of desis in US. Why r indians so cold, which appears rude. Why they so reluctant to adapt to local culture? Just a small example, most of desis would never greet anyone in public setting. Even when theres no language barrier. We so seldom smile at people or even smile back or greet back warmly. Is it inferiority complex at play? Or superiority complex? Or something else? Reply

I also felt the same...whites do greet, exchange smiles in office too....but we Indians tend not to do so...I personally smile or nod my head when ever I see a fellow desi but never received any response back...May be we can start to be the change we want to see...Lets start greeting others with smile and see how it goes ... Marrying within same castes is like inbreeding hence the brain wont be advanced or evolve, just good to be a slave. In order to be a better species the humans should be able to choose from and marry from 100% of the population but caste will make it that they have to choose only from same sub sects, hence low quality brain. The best breed of plants have been created by crossing different species using tissue culture. This works same in USA as they are mix of german irish english scottish italian russians etc but Indians marry within their village hence poor output, low quality offspring, uncivilized culture. American, I commend you for preaching about something you absolutely have no idea about.As per you, Indians are not as intelligent as Americans because they are not marrying outside their caste. Please do throw some light upon how America is at the moment being controlled by the so called dumb Indians. Here are a few examples - Harvard University Dean - Indian - Google CEO - Indian - Pepsico CEO - Indian - Microsoft CEO - Indian - United Nations Ambassador for USA - Indian - The list goes on and on. Moreover, if you go to any university classroom, the toppers are almost always Indians. Considering all this, I think it is the other way around, which means: marrying within the same cast or race actually produces more intelligent children, not the other way. But this is just my hypothesis, I am not going to go ahead and start preaching to not marry outside cast until I am hundred percent sure about the thing I am preaching, unlike idiots like you who don't even think before speaking. These are the top indians ,exceptions but come nowhere close to top percentage of white people. These people are top employees and not founders of these companies / institutions. There is a huge difference between starting owning google and being a CEO for short period. The only Indian origin person like that was Bose but he was born to white mother. Reply

Why are we only limiting it to the Indian race? As per you, interracial marriages lead to more intelligent children. Here's my counter argument.. - Bill Gates' was not an interracial child - Steve Jobs was not an interracial child - Einstein, one of the most intelligent human till date was not an interracial child. - Neither was Thomas Edison On the other hand, can you quote me at least a handful of big names that were interracial children. Now don't say Barack Obama because we are talking about intelligence here, and neither did he invent anything, nor did he have an extra ordinary IQ. Reply

You can NEVER EVER compare humans to other living things. Just because cross breeding plants or animals produces a better species, doesn't mean it implies on humans as well. Homo Sapiens (humans) are very complex species as compared to any other living things, which is a beauty in itself, and because of this unique complexity we have achieved heights of success in every field throughout the history. They are not inter racial but whites marry among italians, french, scandinavian countries, germans, english, scottish irish, dutch, eatern europeans, russians without any restriction. There is diversity already in their pool unlike Indians who marry within their caste. Einstein has a mix of jewish and caucasian ancestry(azhkenazi jew) . He is not pure jewish. Reply

Well I differ here.Its not necessary that marrying outside ones religion or ethnicity will always lead to intelligent offsprings . One should also not ignore the fact that Indians in Us are primarily from one region of India predominantly south .Therefore it will not be fair to generalize for all Indians Agree they are not as social .We face this issue being Indians In downsouth. If certain communities are predominant in US doesn’t mean they are representative of the entire nationality . Please do your research thoroughly before making a statement like this. wow, look where this thread started and what is being discussed now. Back to the topic, its not that only Indians are rude. There are many others that are rude even in USA. Parts like NE, Cali, etc are friendlier but there are parts that are not. A few years ago I thought the same that Indians are rude but now I smile and say how are you to all Indians just the way we say to non Indians and almost all reply warmly. Also, if someone smiles and ask you how are you, doesn't mean they are not rude. They just have friendly outlook but behind our back, they have their not so 'friendly' opinions and chatter about Indians. Basically, people all over the world are the same when you go beyond those 'How are you' greetings. Just try asking a bit more like did you had your breakfast, how is your family, etc, most of them will avoid you. Reply
