Simply your employer is trying to fool you. No employer in US can hold employees on a written contracts. Even though you signed those contacts in the beginning before joining - those are of no use. You have a right to sue your employer and they will take cation against that shady companies as they violated labor laws by NOT paying you for 2 months.
