Depends on which airport you are landing. I have experience of Bombay and Delhi airport. Generally they dont scan the bags unless you have lots of baggages. Bombay customs are worst, they just wait to jump on passengers. I took 40inch LED TV in 2011 from Dubai to Mumbai airport and had to pay 2000 INR. Go easy and hope for the best, also if you have bills of all the items then you can carry upto 50K INR worth of items legally. Thanks.
