Oddly enough, and this is seinthmog I have no explanation for, many fanatical Muslims have technical/scientific backgrounds. MB is full of doctors and engineers. Others have noticed too, I have yet to find an explanation. The reason I find it odd is because I did my B.Sc. In physics / math and atheism was very common in that group.
