Eversource (CL&P)is bringing down their price from 12.63/kwh cents to 8.23cents/kwh. So choose wisely. If you sign up now for a company which charges more than 8.23/kwh, you may want to rethink. Make sure there is no contract and you can switch carriers at anytime without a penalty. Just a tip: When you are ready to switch company, just go back to CL&P first before you select another company. The reason I say this is sometimes the company you are with may delay at least 2 months before they hook you to the new carrier. Just some shady companies you need to watch out. And don't call the company to switch, call CL&P directly. Good luck.
