Wethersfield DMV is one of the worst DMV's in the state. New drivers will seldom get the license in the first go. You have to atleast try 3-4 times here before you get your license no matter how clean you drive. They will catch you at the slightest mistake and fail you instantly. Skip Wethersfield and go to Danbury DMV if you can drive till there...much better enviornment, faster and polite officers.
