Remember following steps: 1. Get a certificate from Village Officer Stating that Old name lady and new name lady are one and the same person. 2.You should have proof of marriage, like certificate etc when go for interview. If your last name in the passport is Dad's name, you need a certificate for that too. 3. However, it is easy to add husband's name in the passport. It is only one day process now a days.
