| BG,without a car its a bit tough here as there is not a great public transportation network in this area,Newport beach is nice so is Acadia national park but without a car its a bit of a drag.Your best bet is taking a bus trip to Niagara falls or Washington DC.Things to do in Hartford area are,tubing at Farmington river,Gillette ridge castle,visit Harriet Beecher Stowe's House,River front park,Outlet malls at Clinton and beach nearby etc.Can you get a rental car? or a coworker who could drive you?
