Asking for better salary, it was possible 5-10 yrs back. Now a days its tough. H1b struggle here to get into gc line. Its very touhh to change consultancy or job. There are many working in ny for 65k. Reason is you are getting more ameeican candidates and other immigrants cheaper than indian candidates. Trend is shifting. 70-85 k is a reality in ct.
