Its our people only who are here accepts low salary from these small consulting firms specially owned by Indians here and large firms like Cognizant, Infosys.. For initial year or two coming from India make sense.. But most under fear accepts such low pay is infact abusing the H1B quota and hurting salary of people here.. These low pay should stop since clients pay on an avg 200k per ind in area like hartford.. Demand more, and stick to it.. you low self esteem people are not just hurting you but hurting your fellow friends too... 85k is close to reality I know but its at least 30% low for a developer in CT. (From 10+ year Exp in living in CT and 6+ in IT)
