This is my calc - Rental + All Utilities for a 2 Bed (Internet/Gas/Heat) - 1700 Car+Insurance - 350 Groceries/ Misc - 500 Total - 2550 Typically, you need anywhere between 2500 - 3000 for a decent standard of living. So with 4k a month, you save 1000 - 1500 max.
