You need to reach out to a Chartered accountant and get 15Ca and 15Cb forms. It takes minimum a week also. With these forms you can request bank to transfer money to US. I do not think money is taxable in US as far own money is going from one property to another. I did same in 2018 but yet to file the tax which will be done in few weeks ! Good luck
