I understand what you are saying. But students who come here on F1, they come with a hope to get a job while they are studying. Very few Indians can afford education as well as living costs in US without working under the table. So it benefits both, I understand they pay $8 hourly which is $2 less than minimum wage, but they are taking risk as well.
Secondly, tax evasion doesn't happen in most cases when it comes to running a business. Not saying in all cases. But hey, who doesn't evade taxes? Even Americans do! My mechanic is white American, he owns a huge garage and he gives me discount if I pay him in cash. So me and him both avoid paying taxes. BTW I am not Patel just FYI.
Lastly, people who they bring here, come here with their will. They aren't forced to do so. They know the consequences of coming here illegally and yet they do. Believe it or not, their life here is much better compared to it was back in India. I know many people like that, they have to sacrifice their family, but hey! it's their choice. |
