You do realize airlines need to be strict about weight. If the plane is overweight it can crash. We are all so selfish that we only think of ourselves - thinking what will an extra 1-2 kgs matter. If everyone thinks that way and air lines are lenient it can lead to an overweight plane which poses a risk. Would you rather be in a plane crash or be 'inconvenienced' and carry only the permitted weight? Plane crash vs less weight - you decide.
