whether TV works in india will depends on power rating. Some TV comes with 110-240 V operation. So nothing needed for them to be voltage compatible in india. if it is only 110-120V then you need voltage convertor with some power rating says 100watt. There is one more thing in terms of NTSC /PAL but HDMI will resolve those as all set top boxes have HDMI output nowadays and almost all new TV's have HDMI input. try to find TV with 110-240V power rating as sometimes it is not feasible always to use voltage convertor
