Yes, recently i have taken my 43 inch tv to india via qatar airlines they charged $200 for extra laguaage and $200 for exceeding dimensions Length+Breadth+width should be less than 60 cms, mine exceeded by 5cms i didnt had original TV Receipt and customs charged me flat 30% tax ... after getting out of airport i didnt feel like it was worth carrying 43 inch tv to india.
