May I ask why only these 3 sates - NY, NJ and CT are neighboring states, but MS is way south.
Coming back to your question, each state has its pros and cons. NY is the most expensive but that's a generalization as its a big state so some areas may not be as expensive as others. NJ is expensive too - has lots of Indians and is more crowded. It will give you the most India-like feeling. CT is also expensive, but relatively less - again some areas are more expensive then others as with all states. Indians are less as compared to NJ/NY but they are plenty - more so in Towns like Stamford, Rocky Hill, Hamden, Manchester, Farmington, AVon - to name a few. Weather in all these states is pretty similar - cold and dreary in winter (5-7 months) with snow many times. It does take some getting used to as these months you are pretty much cooped inside, and outdoor activities are negligible apart from visiting stores, friends house (all indoor activity). Summers are beautiful though and those months make up for the boring winters.
Finally MS - I have no idea. Its a southern state so least Indian population and least expensive as well. I will advice to stay away from MS.
