Well, yes US is not India and India is not US. You can imagine how an American will fill if they moved to US. So, my point is you have to realize each place is different and you being surprised to find that US is not exactly like India, seems bit naive and surprising to me.
Now that you have realized US is not exactly like India, it is upto you to adapt and make the best of this, or make your mind and say this place is not for me. If you wanted an exact Indian like environment, then maybe this place is not for you. Coming to US is like a trap to be honest. You will get sucked into the lifestyle (eventually) and the money, but will constantly yearn and miss the 'Indianess' that cannot be replicated here. Sorry to be brutally honest, but since you are new open up your eyes and realize this ASAP, and choose if you want to stay in US or return back to your roots. |
