I personally know 3 H1B extension/amendment denials. And 2 out of 3 are from Indian companies with genuine exp and all, genuine client letter, etc unlike those fake consultanices/experiences. So yeah, They are not rumours for sure. I shall update soon about my status, i am about to file my extension.
