It happened to me last year and I can totally understand how frustrated you must be at this time since your car is worth nothing now. You have 2 options: 1.) If you want to sell it as soon as possible, put a listing on craiglist and mention that its motor is not working, many local junkyard people will contact you with different quotes, sell it to the guy who pays most. Don't expect anything more than $200 (that too from a generous junkyard)if you choose to go by this option. 2.) If you want a good price and can wait a month or two, get the car towed to your home first. Take plenty of pictures of your car and put a listing of about $600 on craiglist, mention that its motor is broken and that you can sell the car in full or even if you are interested in specific parts you can sell those too. Some people will contact you for parts, give it to them for whatever they want to pay. I went with the second choice and got $450 for my car instead of $200 quoted by a junkyard.
