I do not think your view is right. Average fees for an year is 40k. With living expense, it is not less than 60k for an year! they do part time jobs that is kind of 10$ jobs. Someone does that kind of job get less than 20k per year. This is reward of their handwork man ! especially after their studies. Comparing what they spend in US, there salary is peanuts !
