Ikea beds are not worth keeping, thats why she is selling it hahah. They break so easily, you will regret your decision of buying it in as early as a month. And if you happen to have kids in your home, DON'T EVEN THINK about buying an IKEA bed. She is regretting her purchase, which is why she wants to get rid of it. Even if you do decide to purchase it, its nearly impossible to move this from her home to your home, it will break in the way (I guarantee you).
However mattress looks like its in good condition, buy it if she gives a good price on it. A good price won't be any more than $100.
Here's another suggestion, even if she gives the bed for free, don't rent a truck especially to get the bed because it will break in the way and you will only loose money on renting. DO TAKE IT if you can fit it in your own truck or if you are already renting a truck for the mattress.
Suggestion for the seller: Break the bed and sell the wood to a carpenter. That's what I did when I once made the mistake of buying an IKEA bed. |
