Are you serious? Why did you sublease without informingthe owner in the first place? You not only got yourself in trouble, because of your foolish mistake - that guy also had to get kicked out. HE suffered loss, due to your foolishness. He is not entitled to give you any money. If anything, he can file a complaint on you for causing such hardship to him.
