Its not abt buying candies but abt that craze and happiness, kids get with these candies. Everyone spends money on costumes so its nt free for them. I dont think ppl wait for whole year to hv candies, everyone buys when needed. But yes, its the theme and way halloween is and i dont see anythng bad. Going to NY for candies though is toooo far idea for me. Doesnt makes any sense.
