I have been to Mt.Washington once in the first week of october. It's damn cool on the top and if you are driving urself to Mt.Washington, better to have to brakes in good condition. Actually, couple of hours would be sufficient. There is no need to book tickets in advance. They probably charge $30 for your car to climb the mountain. Hope, this helps!!!
