| We went to their New Year's Eve Bollywood Night. While their music is great and gives us a chance to really dance the night away, their service is less than stellar! We spent $50 per ticket, and by the time we arrived the snacks were done. They weren't overly crowded, but they were definitely short staffed and couldn't handle the drink requets at the bar. And, because of this, they had to stop filling drink requests to take care of pouring the champagne for the New Year's toast. The bartender actually waved his hand in front of us and told us he couldn't serve us! This would NEVER happen at non-Desi establishment - never. It's too bad, because we were so happy to know that a desi club was so near to us; we live in stamford too and are looking for other places. Unfortunately, I think Madeiras is monopolizing the situation and they think that because so far they are the only type in their line of business, they can get away with their ill manners. I would love to go back, but I was treated so bad that I don't feel comfortable. Glad you weren't treated as we were! |
